Welcome to Handy AI, an app developed by EXPNT Ltd. Our Service allows you to take a picture of an appliance, describe an issue, and receive AI-generated instructions and suggestions for repairs (collectively, the “Instructions”). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Handy AI, including our app, website, and other tools (collectively, the "Service" or "Services"). By accessing or using Handy AI, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other applicable policies. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use Handy AI.
This End-User License Agreement (EULA) is between you and EXPNT Ltd. EXPNT Ltd is solely responsible for the content, maintenance, and support of the app, as well as for any claims related to the app. No other party, including Apple, has any obligations under this EULA.
You acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and, upon your acceptance of the terms, Apple has the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Handy AI for personal, non-commercial purposes on any Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by Apple's Usage Rules. This license does not grant you ownership of the app or any related intellectual property.
EXPNT Ltd is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for Handy AI. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the app.
The Instructions provided by Handy AI are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice. Appliance repair can be dangerous and may result in serious injury, death, or property damage if not performed correctly.
You should always consult a qualified and licensed professional for any appliance repairs. Do not attempt any repairs unless you are confident in your ability to do so safely. By using Handy AI, you acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for any actions you take based on the Instructions provided.
EXPNT Ltd expressly disclaims any and all liability for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss or damage that may result from your use of the Service or reliance on any Instructions. You agree to assume all risks associated with any repairs or actions you undertake.
In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if applicable). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligations with respect to the app. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to a warranty are the sole responsibility of EXPNT Ltd.
THE INSTRUCTIONS AND ANY OTHER INFORMATION PROVIDED BY HANDY AI ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, RELIABLE, SAFE, OR EFFECTIVE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC SITUATION.
EXPNT Ltd is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app, including but not limited to:
In the event of any third-party claim that the app infringes on a third party's intellectual property rights, EXPNT Ltd is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
"Handy AI" and related marks, content and software belong to EXPNT Ltd or its licensors. You get a limited, revocable licence to use the app—nothing more.
By using Handy AI, you represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist-supporting" country and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
You agree to comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using Handy AI (e.g., your wireless data service agreement).
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Notice of changes will be provided via the app or other communication methods. Continued use of the app following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
To use Handy AI, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts under the laws of the United Kingdom.
You are solely responsible for all activities conducted under your Handy AI account. Protect your account and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or any security breach. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for any violations of these Terms.
You agree to use Handy AI only for lawful and intended purposes. You must not attempt any repairs that are beyond your skill level or that may violate local laws or regulations. Always prioritize safety and consult a professional when in doubt. Activities that violate applicable laws or regulations or these Terms may lead to account suspension, termination, or legal action.
To ensure fair use and protect our Services from abuse, each user is subject to an underlying usage quota. Exceeding this quota may result in temporary restrictions or termination of access to the Services. We retain the right to modify these quotas and associated policies at any time and at our sole discretion.
If you believe content on Handy AI violates your rights or these Terms, contact us immediately. We will review complaints and take appropriate action as necessary.
Handy AI offers a weekly subscription. Subscriptions automatically renew until canceled, and charges will continue to apply unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends.
Subscriptions can be managed or canceled through your app store account settings. Upon cancellation, access to subscription features will end after the billing period.
Subscription payments are processed via your app store provider (e.g., Apple). Refund requests must be made through the app store provider as EXPNT Ltd does not process refunds directly.
We reserve the right to modify subscription features, terms, or pricing at any time.
EXPNT Ltd collects and uses technical data to improve its products and services. Personal data is processed in compliance with applicable laws, including GDPR. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through arbitration or mediation in accordance with the governing law specified below.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EXPNT Ltd and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the app or violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Handy AI at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. Serious violations of these Terms may result in immediate suspension.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in England and Wales.
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights or obligations without restriction.
If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid.
Failure to enforce any provision does not waive that provision or others.
